Arsenal, Man United and Spurs have all been linked with a move for Stuttgart centre-back Ozan Kabak – as per the latest reports.
Both the London clubs as well as Man United are looking to bring in some fresh faces during the summer transfer window and it looks like they have pitched their sights on Ozan Kabak who has surprisingly impressed in the Bundesliga this season.
The defender joined the German outfit during the January transfer window from Galatasaray but in these six months only, the youngster has caught the attention of a number of top European clubs.
During the second half of the season, Ozan Kabak has featured in 15 Bundesliga games for Stuttgart scoring 3 goals which is a pretty impressive record for a 19-year-old.
‘It’s incredible how worldly-wise he is for his age. It’s astonishing,’ said Stuttgart sporting director Thomas Hitzlsperger.
‘I see him every day and am amazed at how he mature he is. He wants to know everything; he wants to learn German right away and understand everything. That’s the kind of attitude we need. He’s already a role model, despite his age.’
Stuttgart have been relegated from the Bundesliga this season but Ozan Kabak has really been one of the brightest sparks for the side ever since he joined the club back in January.
Now though reports have claimed that the club are ready to let him leave this summer if a club is ready to release his trigger clause which is believed to be around £13 million.
Both Arsenal and Spurs seem highly interested in signing Ozan Kabak give that the transfer price is right up their alley.
Manchester United too have been linked with the player during the past couple of weeks but some experts feel that Solskjaer will not be risking his first full season at the club with a relatively unknown signing.
The Norwegian boss will instead be looking to bring in big names like De Ligt instead of someone of Ozan Kabak.
Spurs are known as a club who never spend too big on players and the Stuttgart defender will be a perfect bargain signing for a fee of £13 million.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have failed to qualify for the Champions League which means Emery will now have only £45 million to spend in the transfer market.
And in such a scenario, much like Pochettino, the Gunners boss too will be eager to get as much bang out of his bucks as possible.
