Ligue 1 giants PSG are said to be interested in making a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the next few months – as per The Express.

The report claims: “Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and will look for an opportunity to secure his services this summer, according to reports.

“PSG have been linked with a move for Pogba for some time, but it has been suggested that club chiefs could finally act on their interest ahead of the new campaign.

“The United midfielder will be out of contract at the end of next season, with no movement regarding a new deal as of yet.”

Will Paul Pogba be joining PSG this summer?

Paul Pogba is about to enter the final year of his contract with Manchester United and the midfielder had recently hinted that he is yet to receive any concrete offers from the club’s management.

“I have a year of contract left, everyone knows that, “ he had recently said. “We finished the season with the Europa League, after that we had the holidays. I did not sit down with Edu Woodward (vice-president of the club) and the coach, we haven’t spoken. I’m still in Manchester.”

This situation leaves Manchester United in a rather sticky position since PSG are one of the heavyweights of European football and there every possibility Paul Pogba could look to join them this summer – if their interest is real.

But, having said that, PSG have already gotten their hands on Wijnaldum on a free transfer so we are not sure why Pochettino will want to spend money on Paul Pogba, a player who does a very similar job to the Netherlands international.

Any team would be lucky to have a player like Pogba but he is going to cost a lot of money, despite the fact that he is going to enter the final year of his contract.

Also, Manchester United are not going to give up without a fight since Ole highly values the World Cup winner and he is sure to ask his management to table a new and improved contract to the Frenchman really soon.

Now, all we have to wait and see is if Paul Pogba accepts it or not.
