PSG are trying to lure Paul Pogba out of Manchester United but as per the latest reports, the French international could remain at the club beyond the summer of 2022.

Sky Sports are claiming: “Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba can see a long-term future at the club – but may not commit to a contract extension in this transfer window.

“If Paul Pogba does not sign a new Manchester United deal by the end of the window, it will not automatically mean he is against signing one in the future.

“The France international is said to have a great relationship with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is excited with the direction the club is going in following the signing of Jadon Sancho and the imminent arrival of Raphael Varane.

“Sky Sports News has been told Pogba loves the club, but – at 28 – knows his next contract is likely to be the last big one he signs in his career.”

Paul Pogba to sign a new deal or leave?

The fear is that if Manchester United cannot make him sign a new deal then it’s almost certain he will leave as a free agent.

But Sky Sports are now claiming that he might not be looking to move out after all.

Man United seem to be really calm about this whole situation and the way they are acting this transfer window, it seems like they are confident that Paul Pogba is not going anywhere.

Apart from PSG, Liverpool have also been linked with the midfielder but if this report is true then Pogba should put pen on paper to a new deal if United can offer him a sizeable pay rise.

If he decides to join PSG as a free agent then he can demand a major wage structure but at the moment, he does not look too discontent with life at Manchester United and this could be a major factor in determining his next move.
