Man United have been linked with a move for Paulo Dybala during the past couple of days and yesterday there were reports that the Argentinian was close to joining the Red Devils.

Juventus had reportedly agreed on a swap deal between Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku and the only thing that was left was for the forward to accept Man United’s offer.

And Sky Sports had been claiming that the player’s agent was in London to discuss the possible transfer.

The report claimed: “Manchester United and Juventus have agreed a swap deal in principle involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, according to Sky in Italy.

“The deal is now said to hinge on Dybala agreeing terms with United.

“His agent is understood to be in London for talks with United over a move to Old Trafford.

“Dybala is valued at €100m (£91.8m) and is keen to stay but wants to meet with Maurizio Sarri when he returns from his holidays on Thursday before making a final decision, according to Sky in Italy.”

Now though it seems like Paulo Dybala has changed his mind and will not be joining Manchester United this summer.

Manchester Evening News on Wednesday morning have reported that Paulo Dybala has changed his mind regarding the transfer and would like to remain in Turin for the 2019-20 season.

UPDATE:

It seems MEN have backtracked on the report and that piece of news is not currently available on their website.

Fresh rumours though are claiming that Paulo Dybala is ready to join Man United only his wage demands of about £9million a year are met.

So it looks if Man United agree to pay such a hefty salary to the Argentine then the swap deal is possible.
