Paulo Dybala has become a free agent after leaving Juventus last month and as many as three Premier League sides have shown an interest in signing him.

The winger has been one of the best talents in the Serie A in the previous few years so it was quite evident that the big boys will come sniffing around once he becomes a free agent.

However, Paulo Dybala is not keen to move out of Italy and he had even made his desires public in a recent interview.

Paulo Dybala recently told ESPN: “I am quite calm, the people who work with are taking care. In Italy I am very comfortable. I would still like to know other leagues like Premier, Liga… but I’m happy in Italy”.

The winger has rejected a move to Arsenal or Tottenham:

Arsenal and Spurs were really interested in signing the Argentinian but as per the rumours, he has rejected a move to England because he expects to join Inter.

Inter are very confident of signing Dybala and according to Calciomercato, the club will meet the player’s representatives this week in the hopes of closing this deal. It’s being claimed that Inter are offering him a four-year deal worth around €5-5.5 million net per season plus significant add-ons.

Fabrizio Romano had claimed that Spurs did not make any serious moves for Paulo Dybala but we feel Antonio Conte had known long ago that the player doesn’t want to move to England which is why he did not even make an effort.

This rejection will be a big blow for Arsenal because a player like Dybala would have really enhanced their squad’s value. Apart from playing as a winger, the Argentine can also operate as a centre-forward and as a No 10 and this versatility would have helped solve several of Arteta’s problems.

Why aren’t Man United chasing Paulo Dybala?

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United could have given a stern fight to Inter but they decided to back off because of the 28-year-old’s massive wage demands.

Since Paulo Dybala is a free agent he will obviously want high wages and this is something Man United are not too enthusiastic about. In the previous decade the club has wasted a lot of money on extravagant wage bills but under Ten Hag, all that is going to change.

Inter are ready to pay €5-5.5 million per season and that’s clearly justified given how talented Dybala is but Man United, under Erik ten Hag, is going to focus on signing the required players rather than running after superstars.
