While most of the leagues in Europe were facing the after-effects of the pandemic but the Premier League teams still went ahead and spent crazy amounts of money during the summer transfer window.
And if the recent buzz is anything to go by then these sides have no intentions of minimizing their spending spree during the middle of the season either.
Obviously, Newcastle United are going to lead this race with their new Saudi-backed ownership but even clubs like Spurs and Manchester United need to bring in reinforcements with great urgency.
There’s going to be major movement both in and out of the Premier League so we decided to take a look at some big-name players who could be playing in the EPL next year.
Renato Sanches to Wolves/Liverpool:
Renato Sanches is one of those players who had a really promising career ahead of him but he’s failed to live up those initial hypes.
He’s been on the transfer radar of Liverpool for quite some time and as per the recent updates, even Wolves will try and sign him during the January transfer window.
We are not sure if Liverpool will make a move for him in January but with players like Ox-Chamberlain and Keita not playing up to the mark it will not be a surprise if Klopp decides to move for the 24-year-old.

Eden Hazard to Liverpool/Man United/Chelsea:
Eden Hazard’s career graph has nose-dived ever since he’s left the Premier League and after an injury-stricken time in Spain, the Belgian international could once again come back to England.
Chelsea might sensationally try and re-sign one of the most impactful players in their club’s history but the 30-year-old has been caught the interest of teams like Manchester United and Liverpool.
Dusan Vlahovic to Arsenal/Spurs/Man City:
The Fiorentina man could very easily become the most sought after striker during the January transfer window.
North London sides Arsenal and Tottenham will undoubtedly try and sign the 21-year-old at the start of the new year but their plans could be derailed as Manchester City are on the hunt for a new centre-forward.
If Pep’s interested then it will be very hard for either Spurs or Arsenal to jump the queue.
Ousmane Dembele to Man United/Liverpool:
Like Hazard, Dembele is another La Liga player whose career has been marred by constant injuries. He’s had uncountable injury setbacks ever since he’s joined FC Barcelona and now the Spanish side are no longer ready to bank on him.
He continues to be linked with teams like clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool and since he’s going to be a free agent next summer, Barca could sell him off for cheap in January.

Jules Kounde to Man United/Chelsea:
Kounde was really close to joining Chelsea in the summer but eventually, a deal did not go through. The Blues though are surely going to try one more time in January but this time, they could be joined by Manchester United.
United were also linked with Kounde before the start of the season and as per Diario AS, they too could reignite their interest.
Christopher Nkunku to Manchester City:
Man City’s January priority is a centre-forward but that doesn’t mean that Guardiola is not going to be making other signings.
Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku is the latest player who’s been linked with Manchester City and if the Etihad outfit are serious about signing him then there’s a big chance that the attacking midfielder could be playing in England pretty soon.
Aaron Ramsey to Everton/Newcastle United:
Aaron Ramsey has seen only failures since moving to the Serie A and as per various sources, the Welsh international is planning to return to the Premier League.
As of now Everton and Newcastle United are being constantly linked with the ex-Gunner but if the reports are genuine then several other clubs will definitely be queuing up to bring him on board.
