Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants to head back to Italy this summer and right now a number of names are being linked with the Blues managerial job.

Sarri guided the Blues to the Europa League victory last month as they beat Arsenal 4-1 in Baku. But shortly after that, the Italian handed in an official request to be released.

Reports suggest that the former Napoli boss wants to head back to Italy and become the next manager of Juventus.

And sensationally a number of reports have claimed that Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez could take charge of the Blues.

Rafa Benitez was once the manager at the Bridge back in 2012 but his love affair with the Blues only lasted for six odd months following which he went to Italy and became the manager at Inter Milan.

While the 59-year-old has done a fine job at St James’ Park but he is out of contract at the club at the end of this month and up until now there are some serious doubts about the manager’s future.

Mike Ashley is planning to sell the club to Sheikh Khaled and many believe that is the reason why Rafa Benitez is yet to receive a new contract.

While Rafa feels that things will eventually be sorted out and he will remain with the Magpies but if that does not happen the Chelsea will not hesitate to make a move for him.

Obviously, Max Allegri is the first choice to replace Maurizio Sarri but some experts feel that the former Juventus manager will not be too keen to take charge of the Blues during the time when he cannot sign any new players.

And this is where Rafa Benitez fits the brief perfectly.

The current Newcastle boss has worked on a shoestring budget at St James Park for some time now and with the talent that Chelsea have, Rafa Benitez can certainly work his magic at the Bridge.
