Rangers FC are planning to launch a bid for Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, a player who was on Celtic’s transfer radar a few weeks ago, according to Glasgow Live.
The report claims: “Rangers are said to be preparing a bid for Bright Osayi-Samuel as they step up their interest in the Fenerbahce winger.
“Osayi-Samuel has been linked with both sides of the Old Firm divide this summer and Celtic were tipped to make a move earlier in the window.
“It’s now defending champions Rangers who are keen to add depth in the final third and that appears to have led them back to Osayi-Samuel, who joined Fenerbahce from QPR in January but has struggled to make a real impact.”
Bright Osayi-Samuel a much-needed signing for Rangers FC?
The 23-year-old joined Fenerbahce in January 2021 from QPR and he is currently valued at £3 million. And since he signed a four-year deal with the Turkish side, Rangers FC might have to pay a pretty steep price to get their hands on the winger.
And given that Ryan Kent is the only out-and-out winger in the squad, Osayi-Samuel might turn out to be a really important signing for the Gers.

If Rangers FC qualify for the Champions League then it’s almost certain that Gerrard will want to bring in reinforcements for the 2021/22 season. But if the Gers miss out on European football then they will give this transfer a real-hard thought.
Bright Osayi-Samuel has not been able to perform since moving out of England so coming back to familiar territory might be a sensible decision for the 23-year-old winger.
Some rumours have suggested that Fenerbahce winger might be available for around £2.5 million something which will be great news for Rangers FC.
