Rangers FC have really caught everyone’s attention ever since they have been claiming that there was deviousness in the recent SPFL proposal which sought to end the 19-20 season immediately.

The club recently announced they have concrete evidence from a whistleblower which could prove that there has been foul play during the voting process and have been also demanded the sacking of various top-level individuals in the board along with an independent investigation.

Rangers FC had claimed via the statement: “WE have been presented with evidence via a whistleblower that raises serious concerns surrounding the SPFL’s processes relating to its stewardship of the voting on the resolution presented to member Clubs.

“Rangers will not be bullied into silence. We believe it is in the interests of all Scottish clubs and supporters that the evidence, which is alarming, be addressed as quickly as possible.

“The voting debacle and the evidence we possess raise serious questions concerning the corporate governance of the SPFL.”

But while a number of people have come out to question this statement urging Rangers FC to show the proofs on which they have been making such claims, the Gers recently found support from Alan Hutton.

The former Rangers defender has come out to suggest that the Gers do have some concrete evidence simply because they have been so vocal about it.

Hutton told Football Insider: “We are going to have to find out what information this whistleblower has given them. It is difficult to judge right now.

“But if Rangers are coming out the way they are, they definitely have something. From their point of view, they see it as enough to challenge.

“All of these teams are looking at it for themselves. Something has come out of importance. Rangers are going to take it the whole way and see it out. We will have to wait and see what it is but they must have something.”

Eventually, Rangers have to pull the rabbit out of the hat and if they do have solid evidence of sabotage then Celtic FC could have to wait even longer to get their hands on the Premiership title.

Also if there is serious foul play then most certainly the league will not be stopped immediately meaning all the teams will have to play out their remaining matches in order to determine the champion as well as the relegation.
