Rangers FC will take on Celtic FC in the Old Firm Derby on the 29th of December at the Ibrox Stadium.
But unlike the former Old Firm Derbies of rest-a-years, this one is going to be a whole lot different.
In July of this year, Rangers FC had announced that they are planning to cut down the number of tickets that are allotted to Celtic FC during the derby and keeping in line with this news, the Teddy Bears announced they would only allow 800 tickets to Celtic instead of the usual 7000.
This news caused a widespread uproar and the Celtic management were the first to speak against this decision claiming that this move from Rangers might ruin the popularity of the game.
From 7,000 away fans to just 800.

While many believed that Rangers would reconsider their decision but now Dave King has made it clear that the club’s decision to sanction 800 tickets is going to be upheld.
Dave King told Rangers’ AGM(as reported by the BBC): “I can give you absolute certainty this board has no intention of reversing this decision.”
But as per the BBC, Celtic’s chief executive Peter Lawwell has said that the Hoops might refuse the tickets for the match due to security reasons after five people were injured during the season’s first Old Firm fixture which was played in September.
Celtic currently sit on top of the Scottish Premiership table with 29 points while Rangers are just below them with 27 points.
