The whole world has been abuzz after the Real Madrid players came up with some surprisingly abusive chants for Gerard Pique during their Liga title celebrations.
Real Madrid were celebrating their title win at Cibeles after beating Malaga 2-0. And out of nowhere some of the players decided to have a go at Pique and hurled abusive rants at the Barcelona man.
Now in a totally gentlemanly approach, Barcelona’s Gerard Pique has come out and said that Real Madrid do not need to apologise.
“No, I’m not offended at all.”
“No one from Madrid has to apologise to me. I have already spoken to Dani. It’s normal, they were happy and that’s that, they had to celebrate.”
The Barcelona man has had a history of getting into spats with Real Madrid in the past. And people were hoping for some serious backlash.
But it looks as if Gerard Pique has made peace with the incident as well as the Real players. Well atleast, for the time being.
