Spanish giants Real Madrid seem to have reignited their interest in Harry Kane and are willing to fight it out with Manchester United in the summer, according to Four Four Two.

They cite a Spanish report saying: “Real Madrid have made Harry Kane their number one transfer target and will compete with Manchester United for his signature.

“According to Cadena Ser, Los Blancos are looking to prise Kane away from Tottenham and reduce their reliance on Karim Benzema.

“The Frenchman, who turns 34 this year, has spent 12 years at the Bernabeu, winning La Liga three times and the Champions League four.”

Will Real Madrid make a move for Harry Kane?

Real Madrid are expected to make a few world-class signings during the summer window and it will not be a total surprise if Florentino Perez bids for Harry Kane as well.

Man United are looking at both Harry Kane and Erling Haaland as their new centre-forward options for the next season but spending too much money could prove to be an issue for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And, money will be the only reason why Daniel Levy will look to part ways with Harry Kane in the summer as he is desperate to set off the losses suffered due to the pandemic.

Real Madrid have money to spare but we feel Haaland is still on top of their priority list and only if they miss out on the Dortmund man will they make any formal approach for Kane.

Spurs have had a really wobbly season but the 27-year-old has still managed to score 17 and assist 13 goals in 27 Premier League matches this season.

Financial instability could really force Spurs to sell either Harry Kane or Son in the summer meaning both Real Madrid and Man United have the chance to sign Kane. And we feel whichever club offers the more money will get their hands on the England international.
