Brendan Rodgers left Celtic FC to join Leicester City in the Premier League a couple of weeks ago.

And immediately after this, the Bhoys management have appointed Neil Lennon as the caretaker boss until the end of the season.

Much like Solskjaer, Lennon has been brought in to take care of the squad until the club finds the next permanent boss.

But many believe that if the interim boss can make the team perform well then there is every chance that Neil Lennon might be given the job permanently.

So as things stand, the current boss is the favourite to take charge of the club next season.

But during the past few days, a surprising name has cropped up and many believe this man could very well take over during the summer.

We are talking about current Belgium boss Roberto Martinez.

Roberto Martinez has been in charge of Belgium since 2016 and since then he has worked really well with the squad.

Belgium played really well during the World Cup in Russia last year and many believe that the success in this tournament is what has caught the eye of the Celtic management.

Roberto Martinez has vast experience in managing English teams and just like Brendan Rodgers, the 45-year-old manager also knows the European circuit very well.

Bookies have slashed their rates over the appointment of Roberto Martinez as the next Celtic boss and he currently stands as the second favourite.

This though is still initial news and the last thing the Bhoys want to do is to make a hasty choice.

But we can assure you that if Roberto Martinez does come in as the next manager then surely it is going to benefit Celtic.
