Ross Barkley wanted by Man United

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has failed to find a place in the Blues’ starting lineup this season which is why he could be on his way to Burnley during the January transfer window, as per The Sun.

The report claims: “CHELSEA’S Ross Barkley is on Burnley’s radar for an emergency swoop in January.

“The midfielder is only getting limited game time at Stamford Bridge and could be available for loan in the next window.

“Barkley, 27, was on Sean Dyche’s radar in the summer.

“Burnley are prepared to pay a chunk of his massive salary for half a season to help them out of the drop zone.”

Will Ross Barkley join Burnley on a loan deal?

During the 2021/22 season, Ross Barkley has played in only one Premier League game so far and it’s more than clear that Thomas Tuchel has no use for him.

The Chelsea boss has tons of midfield options at his disposal so he will not hesitate to send the 27-year-old out on loan for the second half of the season.

This means unless there’s a major injury crisis we do not see Ross Barkley staying at Stamford Bridge beyond January.

He’s way down the pecking order at Chelsea right now but under Sean Dyche, he should be able to get much more game time.

At 27, he still has a lot to offer but we will have to wait and see if he is ready to move to Turf Moor or does he decide to remain with the Blues and fight for his place in the side.
