Jose Mourinho Tottenham take on Chelsea

Manchester United take on Newcastle United this weekend in the Premier League and this could be the last time that we see the Portuguese in charge of the Red Devils.

Rumours have been ripe that if United fail to win against the Magpies, the management will show Mourinho the exit door.

And a number of candidates have been lined up as a replacement to the Portuguese.

On top of that list is former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and the United hierarchy are reportedly waiting for Zidane to accept their offer.

As soon as the Champions League winning manager agrees to take charge of Manchester United, Jose Mourinho will be sacked with immediate effect – as per reports in the British media.

And almost every major footballing pundit wants the Red Devils to sever all ties with Jose Mourinho – all expect Ryan Giggs.

The Man United legend is currently managing the Wales national team and he also happens to be one of the candidates to replace Jose Mourinho as the manager of the club.

But speaking in a completely different tone as compared to the others, Ryan Giggs has urged his former club not to sack Mourinho.

Ryan Giggs said“They’re going through a tough time but change now and they’ll be in the same position in a year or so,

“I believe he should keep his job and I think the problem of late has been forward planning.

“So just take stock, they’re going through a tough time, but my stance hasn’t changed.”

United play their game against Newcastle United before they head off into the international break and if the Red Devils fail to pick up three points in this match then the fans might very well see a new boss at the other end of the break.

And there is a fair chance that Ryan Giggs might be that man.
