Ryan Kent has been phenomenal for Rangers FC ever since he joined then from Liverpool but the Gers are living in constant fears of losing him to Leeds United.

Leeds United have been tracking Kent for a couple of years now and even though the Gers have made it clear that they will not be parting ways with the winger this summer but still some rumours claim Marcelo Bielsa could make a move for him.

Kent has scored eight and assisted nine goals in 33 Premiership games for Rangers this past season and given his positive impact at the club, former Gers midfielder Laudrup wants Gerrard to hold onto him at all costs.

“‘I could mention a few but if there is one player where I would say “keep him at all costs”, it would be Ryan Kent,’ the Dane told the Glasgow Times.

“Leeds have been after him for a year or two now,” he added. “He is the kind of player you pay to watch. He’s the kind who can turn a dull game into a spectacular one and he opens up defences. You need players like that. Not only in Scotland but in Europe as well.

“He’s still got potential. In a year or two I think he will become even better. For me, he is an outstanding prospect.”

Leeds United already have wide attackers like Raphinha, Helder Costa and Ian Poveda in their first-team squad plus Jack Harrison is also expected to sign a permanent deal from Manchester City. And some experts cite this abundance of wingers as the main reason why Bielsa is not going to target Ryan Kent anymore.

The Elland Road outfit have already failed twice in trying to get their hands on Kent but according to The Scottish Sun, they are going to try a third time.

The Scottish Sun had claimed back in April that Leeds are planning to make a £15million offer for Ryan Kent and they hope this huge transfer fee should be enough to crack Rangers’ resilience.

Now, as per the latest updates, Ryan Kent is happy with life at Ibrox and has no intentions of moving out of the club this summer. The winger has two years left on his current contract but is ready to start talks over a new deal.
