Hull City manager Marco Silva is optimistic that Ryan Mason could resume his career as early as next season for Hull City. Mason suffered a fractured skull after his clash with Gary Cahill during Hull City’s match against Chelsea. At first, the injury looked just another clash of heads but later it was confirmed that Mason indeed suffered a skull fracture. And as a result, an emergency operation had to be carried out to repair the fracture.

Since then the footballing circuit has been abuzz whether Mason can ever return to the footballing field. But Marco Silva has come out and said that the player has been making a good recovery and is high in spirits. And if such a progress continues then Mason can return to action as early as next week.

Mason is a Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate. And he joined Hull City for a club record fee of 13 million pounds. He also made his England debut vs Italy in 2015.
