Premier League sides Everton, Wolves and West Ham United are trying to bring Salomon Rondon back to the Premier League, as per The Daily Mail.

The report claims: “The Goodison Park club are also among those monitoring developments with Salomon Rondon.

“The Venezuela striker has a good relationship with Benitez having worked with him previously and is hoping to leave Dalian in China on loan.

“Wolves, West Ham and Leicester City have also shown an interest in signing the 31-year-old centre forward.

“Everton want cover and competition up front with Moise Kean discussing a return to Juventus.”

Is Salomon Rondon coming back to the Premier League?

Everton are set to lose Moise Kean to Juventus so someone like Salomon Rondon will be a perfect patch-up signing for the Toffees.

Also, Rafa Benitez knows the 31-year-old from his time at Newcastle United so the pair should not have any problems working together.

But, it’s this interest from Wolves and West Ham United which is going to be a hurdle for Everton since both these sides are in need of a backup centre-forward as well.

The new Wolves boss is looking to add depth to his squad for the 2021/22 season and a loan deal for Salomon Rondon is a gamble he can very easily take.

Michail Antonio is on fire for West Ham United at the moment but David Moyes needs to add a proper back-up in that area before Antonio gets burnt out.

We will have to wait and see how this news progresses in the next few hours but a one-year loan deal should work perfectly for all three interested clubs.
