Scotland pulled off a wonderful feat by holding England to a 0-0 draw in their second group game of the European Championship and that point means Clarke’s side are still alive in the tournament.

Scotland are currently fourth in Group D with only one point but thankfully they take on Croatia next, a team who are currently tied on points with the Tartan Army.

Steve Clarke’s side will need to pick up all three points against Croatia on Tuesday to be able to boost their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages. But ultimately, their fate lies in the outcome of the Czech Republic vs England game.

The manager has no injury concerns going into this match so we are expecting minimal to no changes to the side with faced England on Friday. Also, Scotland need to score goals if they want to progress to the last-16 so we expect them to throw the kitchen sink at Croatia when these two sides meet at Hampden Park.

Scotland team news vs Croatia:

Scott McTominay played as the right-sided central defender against England and the Manchester United man came out with flying colours in that match. The manager is not expected to tinker around too much with his line-up so we are likely to see McTominay in that same role again.

The return of Kieran Tierney was also a big boost for the Tartan Army and he too will feature against Croatia.

McTominay moving into defence means Callum McGregor will get the chance to play in midfield once again alongside John McGinn.

Young Billy Gilmour was the standout player for Scotland on Friday and the Chelsea lad should get another start in central midfield.

Stephen O’Donnell received big praises from his manager after the 0-0 draw and he will once again start as the right wing-back with Andy Robertson playing on the other side of the pitch.

Che Adams came  into the side against England and fully justified his selection so for the Croatia game, he will be an automatic choice up-front alongside Lyndon Dykes.

Scotland are undefeated in their last 6 matches against Croatia in all competitions but anything other than a win will not be good enough for them to head into the last-16 of the European Championship.
