Man United midfielder Scott McTominay picked up an injury during their Boxing Day clash at Old Trafford and it seems like the player is going to miss the trip to Burnley.
The academy lad has been one of the best players for Man United this season and just a couple of weeks ago, Solskjaer had publicly claimed that Scott McTominay was undroppable from the starting XI.
But it seems like Ole will have to set up his team without the Scottish international after the boss announced that Scott has suffered knee ligament damage.
“He’s done his ligament in his knee, probably. We don’t know how bad it is, so let’s see,” Solskjaer said.
“The boy has got the biggest heart of the lot. He played until half-time but we know when they stiffen up after. We’ll have to find out tomorrow, how he is.

“You see the attitude of the kid, of everyone, in the beginning of the game. I’m not sure if he’ll be ready for Saturday [against Burnley]. Probably not, but we’ve seen him recover before.”
Scott McTominay has been rock solid in central midfield for Man United this season and he is one of the main reason why the likes of Fred and Pogba have been able to play a tad bit freely.
But now with him missing the trip to Turf Moor, Solskjaer has a tough selection decision to make.
The manager could either use Paul Pogba in central midfield alongside Fred or he could keep the Frenchman further up the pitch and deploy Andreas Pereira alongside his fellow Brazilian.
