Amad Diallo to Sheffield United Bramall Lane EPL

Sheffield United picked up their second win since the resumption of the season, this time beating Wolves in the Premier League courtesy of a 93rd-minute goal.

But they will have no time to rest as this weekend they will welcome Chelsea to Bramall Lane and both these sides have a lot riding on the outcome of this match.

Chelsea will undoubtedly go into this match as the slight favourites but BBC’s Mark Lawrenson has hinted that Chris Wilder could play a major role in helping Sheffield United pick up something from this game.

Lawrenson claimed, as reported: “What a great result Sheffield United got at home to Wolves on Wednesday, thanks to John Egan’s last-gasp winner.

“The Blades have certainly responded in the past few days when it looked like they might start to fall away – and it shows just how well Chris Wilder runs that team.

“He has had so many of those players for so long, he knows exactly what they are capable of and he also knows how to get the best out of them.

“They know he knows that too, which is just as important. Chelsea’s performance against Crystal Palace on Tuesday sort of summed them up for me at the moment – they were good going forward, and they were very average at the back.

All smiles heading into Chelsea 😁

“That is just the way Frank Lampard’s side are right now. As dangerous as they look in attack, you can get at them too.”

Chris Wilder is easily one of the top managers in the Premier League right now and if he can take Sheffield United into Europe next season then it will be a dream come true for all the Blades fans.

But picking up all three points against Chelsea will not be an easy task since the Blues seem to have found a new gear in their performances since the restart of the season and we have a feeling that the likes of Basham and Egan will have a really tough time in keeping Pulisic and co at bay for the whole 90 minutes.
