According to a report Tutto Juve, Juventus want to part ways with midfielder Arthur and the Serie A outfit are now willing to send him out on a loan deal for the next season, amidst strong interest from Arsenal.

Juve have signed Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer which means players like Arthur and Adrien Rabiot have fallen down the pecking order. The manager wants to free up space and with Arsenal interested in the midfielder, the Old Lady want to send him out asap.

Arthur joined Juventus in 2020 but the midfielder has failed to impress in Italy, playing just 63 games across all competitions. His current deal with the club expires in 2025 which is why Juventus are ready to push him out on loan with a €30 million option to buy clause included in the deal.

The Gunners are desperate to sign a new central midfielder and for the longest time, they have been targeting Youri Tielemans. However, as per the latest reports, Mikel Arteta has reignited his interest in Arthur.

Should Arsenal go after Arthur instead of Your Tielemans?

The Gunners had tried to sign the Juventus misfit during the January window but somehow a deal could not be struck.

At the start of the summer, they had no intention of going back for the Brazilian but with just a few days left for the new season to start, Arsenal are yet to sign a midfielder which is probably why they are refocusing on Arthur.

Youri Tielemans wants to leave Leicester City before the new season kicks off and he’s also made it clear that he wishes to join Arsenal, despite heavy interest from Manchester United.

The Gunners will have to sign him outright but it makes much more sense to spend €30-35 million on Tielemans rather than sign Arthur on a loan deal.

The Leicester City midfielder has been in the Premier League since 2019 and he’s played over 150 games for the club. On the other side, Arthur was a failure at Barcelona and he’s not been able to revive his career at Juventus either.

It will be a major gamble bringing him to England because if this experiment fails then Arsenal will be back to square one at the end of next season. We firmly believe the Gunners boss should put faith in Youri Tielemans rather than gamble with Arthur.
