Harry Kane is wanted by clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United but Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has urged the forward to join Real Madrid.
Karim Benzema will be leaving Madrid meaning the Los Blancos will need to bring in a replacement asap. Harry Kane is one of the major targets for Real Madrid but there have been reports, that the England international is not keen on leaving England to go and play in a foreign league.
He does want to leave Tottenham in the summer and if Daniel Levy lets him leave then he will want to join a Premier League side.
Madrid are yet to make any concrete moves for the 29-year-old but Ramos believes, when his former club comes calling, Kane should not reject them.
Speaking to The Mirror, the Madrid legend has said: “My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win.
“He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game.
“But also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don’t think he gets enough credit for that.
“Yes, he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.”
Should Harry Kane snub an offer from Real Madrid?
Harry Kane wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer because he is going to enter the final phase of his playing career so he wants to win silverware.
Madrid are the masters at winning silverwares and if Kane is really hungry for trophies then there’s no way he can reject the Los Blancos. The Spanish giants have this crazy habit of winning trophies and if Kane ends up joining them then he will undoubtedly win multiple silverware before he hangs up his boots.
They have won 35 Spanish League titles and a sensational 14 Champions League titles out of which five have come within the previous decade.
However, we understand why the Spurs captain is sceptical about moving out of the Premier League because not a lot of English players have found success when playing on foreign soil and Harry Kane does not want a totally new challenge at the age of 29.
He’s probably looking to play it safe by joining Chelsea or Manchester United because, at these clubs, he will not have to adapt and adjust. Man United or Chelsea are not tuned to win trophies immediately but Kane is willing to take this risk rather than suffer in a totally new league.
Obviously, these are early days and Real Madrid are yet to make any sort of formal approach and if and when they do, there’s a massive chance that Harry Kane could reject Chelsea and Man United.
Also, even though Daniel Levy is not keen to sell his most important player but the Spurs chairman won’t mind bagging £100 million in transfer fees and allowing Harry Kane to play for a Spanish team rather than let him join a direct English rival.
