Arsenal defender really close to securing an exit this summer: Where’s he headed to?

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin looks all set to move out of the club during the ongoing transfer window and he’s even ready to take a pay-cut to secure an exit.

The Mirror are claiming: “Arsenal star Hector Bellerin is keen to leave the club and is said to be willing to slash his wages to secure a move away from the Gunners.

“Reports suggest Bellerin will move to Serie A champions Inter Milan with the Italian club in need of a right-back after the departure of Achraf Hakimi.

“It’s understood a deal has been agreed between the player and the club with the Spain international even agreeing to a wage cut.

“Bellerin reportedly earns £5.72m a season at the Gunners but a contract at Inter could see that decrease to £2.99m (€3.5m) per term.”

Should Mikel Arteta stop Hector Bellerin from leaving?

Hector Bellerin has been with Arsenal since 2011 but it’s pretty obvious that he has no long-term future at the club under Mikel Arteta.

The right-back featured in only 25 Premier League games last season(scoring one and assisting three goals) and over the past few months, there have been several rumours that Bellerin is heading out of the Emirates.

He seems to already have an agreement with Inter Milan and despite a lot of fans not being happy with this news, we don’t think Mikel Arteta will stop him from leaving.

Hector Bellerin has two more years left on his current deal so this is the perfect time to cash in on Spaniard. According to TransferMarkt, the right-back is valued at £22.50 million meaning the Gunners should get a good enough fee from his sale.

It remains to be seen just how much Inter Milan are ready to pay for the 26-year-old since they are not in a very financially stable condition right now.
