As per a report by UOL [h/t Team Talk], Liverpool have eyes on two Real Madrid players and one of them is 19-year-old Arda Guler.

The Premier League club’s first preference happens to be Rodrygo but it’s almost impossible for Liverpool to land the attacker because Real Madrid are quoting an insane figure for the Brazilian international.

Arda Guler is the next option for Liverpool but even he will not be available for a permanent sale since Madrid have invested a lot of money and time in the prodigy. Guler’s move to Spain was much talked about in the press but the Turkish international has endured a tough first season with the Los Blancos last year featuring in only 10 La Liga games.

Will Real Madrid allow Arda Guler to move out on a loan spell?

His first season in Spain might have been tough and challenging but Carlo Ancelotti has complete faith in the youngster. The Madrid manager is very confident that the attacking midfielder is going to go big within the next couple of seasons however, Mbappe’s arrival is going to make things a bit more complicated for Guler.

Apart from Mbappe, the manager also has Rodrygo and Bellingham so it’s still unsure what role Arda Guler is going to play next season and with Liverpool interested in him, there’s a chance that Real Madrid could allow him to leave on a loan spell.

Arne Slot is going to do a major rebuilding job at Anfield and someone like Arda Guler will be more than welcome next season. He is primarily a No 10 but can also play as a right-winger which means he can be the backup to Mo Salah.

Last season, he played only 373 minutes of league football for Madrid but in those 10 appearances, he managed to score 6 goals with a passing accuracy of almost 90%. He has

At Real Madrid, he will have to face a lot of competition to be able to break into the first-team next season but with a loan move to Liverpool, he will get a lot more game time. If Arne Slot deploys a 4-2-3-1 system then Arda Guler will be competing for both the No 10 and the right winger’s position and since Liverpool do not have any world-class attacking midfielder in their squad right now, Guler can very easily snatch up that role.

However, all this will depend on what Ancelotti has planned for the 19-year-old because up until now, there have been no hints that the Turkish international is going to leave on a loan spell.

We are pretty sure that the midfielder is going to hold talks with his manager once the EURO comes to an end and if Carlo cannot guarantee him regular starts then Liverpool have a great chance of landing him up for one season.
