The Spanish league wants UEFA to investigate Man City and here’s what the European governing body plans to do

0

The Spanish League President Javier Tebas released a statement recently to the Associated Press asking the UEFA to launch a probe against both Manchester City as well PSG for irreparably harming the football industry.

PSG have spent crazy sums of money during the summer to bring in some high profile players like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. While Manchester City did not go to that level of crazy but they too ended up spending a huge amount on player transfers.

And the La Liga believes that both teams could not have done it without breaching the Financial Fair Play.  That is why the Spanish League has requested UEFA to launch a probe into this.

But the Press Association Sport believes that Manchester City will not be investigated by UEFA in relation to the FFP rules.

Though, Ligue 1 club PSG might suffer a totally different fate.
