‘You can see our new signing,’: Fans lose their minds after ‘this’ EPL club releases pictures on social media

Spurs new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur played all their home games at Wembley during the 2017-18 season because the Lilywhites management is building a new and improved stadium that is set to replace White Hart Lane as the official home ground.

The stadium has a planned capacity for 62,062 spectators and is designed to host football as well as NFL games. Spurs are set to play their first home game at the new stadium on the 15th of September but only after a number of test events are completed.

This new stadium will be a serious upgrade from White Hart Lane and the development plans will include 579 new homes, a 180-room hotel, a local community health centre. So no wonder the Spurs fans are excited.




And in order to keep the excitement levels up, the club often release pictures of the new stadium. But this weekend when Spurs released a number of ariel shots of the new stadium on social media, it immediately backfired on them.








As soon as the pictures were released the fans found the roof of the stadium pretty similar to a toilet seat.

Spurs will play their first game of the new Premier League season on the 11th of August against Newcastle United away from home.
