Spurs have peaked at the perfect moment in the Premier League and with four wins on the trot, Antonio Conte’s side are now in the driver’s seat in terms of grabbing that final Champions League spot.

Spurs are currently three points ahead of Arsenal in the fourth spot and next up, they take on Brighton and Hove Albion at home. With the kind of form that the Lilywhites are in right now, they should be looking to pick up a very comfortable win.

In their last four matches, Tottenham Hotspur have scored 14 goals while conceding only two and on the other hand, the Seagulls have won just one out of their previous five outings.

Tottenham have played one less game than Arsenal so they will have to keep their foot on their peddle because one loss and the Gunners will be level on points with their North London rivals. Conte does have a few injury concerns going into this game but the manager should not have any issues naming his strongest XI.

Spurs team news vs Brighton:

Japhet Tanganga is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury but the Spurs boss has firmly settled in on his three central defenders.

Matt Doherty had to be taken off in the 21st minute of the Aston Villa game due to an injury and as per the latest reports, the full-back has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a medial ligament injury.

In the previous few matches, Doherty had been playing as the left wing-back but now that he is missing, Reguilon will come back to his usual position while Emerson Royal operates on the right-hand side.

Oliver Skipp is still recovering from a groin injury and will only be back sometime towards the end of this month. His absence will not be an issue for the Spurs manager because Hojbjerg and Bentancur have been doing exceptionally well as a pair.

The trio of Harry Kane, Son and Kulusevksi are the main reason why Spurs have suddenly shifted to the fifth gear and as long as they are performing well, not many teams in the Premier League will be able to beat them.

The likes of Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn are available from the bench but since Spurs are playing in the league, fatigue is not going to be an issue for Antonio Conte’s team.

Spurs predicted line up vs Brighton:

Predicted Starting XI(3-4-3): Hugo Lloris; Romero, Ben Davies, Eric Dier; Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Reguilo, Emerson Royal; Son, Harry Kane, Kulusevski.
