3-4-2-1 Spurs’ predicted line up vs Chelsea: Will Richarlison get a start?

Spurs opened their Premier League campaign with a thumping 4-1 win over Southampton and with their tails up, they will now take on Chelsea.

Conte’s side head across London to face the Blues at Stamford Bridge and if Spurs can win on Sunday they will automatically be the favourites to challenge Man City and Liverpool this season.

Tottenham haven’t been able to beat their London rivals in their previous four meetings but the Lilywhites go into this match, unbeaten in eight away games. However, while they have been scoring a flurry of goals but it’s also a fact they have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five matches.

Based on the performances in gameweek one, Spurs are without a doubt the favourites to win on Sunday and any other result will be a bummer for Antonio Conte.

Tottenham’s team news vs Chelsea:

Over the past year, Antonio Conte has managed to remould the side in his own image and right now, he has one of the most stable and cohesive starting line-ups in the Premier League.

The defensive line is not expected to see any changes with Romero, Eric Dier and Ben Davies pairing up in central defence.

The North London side have signed Clement Lenglet on loan from FC Barcelona but the defender will only get a starting brief.

However, the midfield could see a few reshuffles.

Sessegnon started against the Saints but for this high-intensity match, we think Antonio Conte will put his faith in summer signing Ivan Perisic.

Spurs have also signed Yves Bissouma from Brighton but we don’t think he will come into the starting XI, in place of Hojbjerg or Bentancur.

Richarlison has served his one-match ban so he will be available for selection this weekend but there’s no way Antonio Conte will dare put one of Son or Kulusevski on the bench.

The Brazilian will come off the bench sometime in the second half and by that time, hopefully, Spurs would have been able to wrap up the tie.

Spurs predicted line up vs Chelsea:

Predicted Starting Line up(3-4-2-1): Lloris; Eric Dier, Davies, Romero; Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic/Sessegnon, Emerson; Son, Kulusevski; Harry Kane.
