Spurs are still unbeaten in the Premier League this season and they will be hoping to take this form into the Champions League as well.
Tottenham play their first Champions League group game this Wednesday when they take on Marseille at home.
Spurs are yet to lose even a single game this season plus they are one of the strongest sides in England right now. However, Marseille have also made a great start to their campaign as they too haven’t lost in their previous six matches.
This one should be an evenly matched contest but Spurs have the home advantage for this tie so Antonio Conte will be hoping his players can kick off their European campaign with a commanding win.
Both of them will be looking to kick off their UCL campaign with a victory but neither of them have a good recent record in Europe. Marseille have failed to score in five of their last six matches in the competition while Spurs have lost their last three matches in the Champions League.
Spurs team news vs Marseille:
Clement Lenglet played as the third centre-back against Fulham during the weekend but he is going to make way as Ben Davies comes back into the starting line up.
Hojbjerg and Bentancur are back in central midfield but after this game, Spurs will face Manchester City next weekend so there’s a chance that Antonio Conte will protect one of his first-choice midfielders.
He has Yves Bissouma as backup and the summer signing should come into midfield for the UCL group game.

Ivan Perisic will also come into the side, replacing Sessegnon as the left wing-back.
Richarlison came up with a man-of-the-match performance against Fulham but he’s going to move to the bench for the Marseille tie as Kulusevski comes into the team on the right-hand side.
Lucas Moura is the only injured player for Tottenham so Conte has a full-strength side at his disposal.
