Spurs received a major boost after Arsenal’s loss to Newcastle United and now they will just need to secure a draw in their last Premier League game.
Tottenham take on Norwich City on Sunday and while a draw will be enough for them to ensure a Champions League spot for the next season but there’s no doubt that Antonio Conte’s side will go out in search of a draw.
The Canaries have been relegated from the Premier League but they will look to end their top-flight campaign on a high by inflicting a blow to Tottenham’s European hopes. The odds are heavily stacked against them though as Norwich have won just five league games this season.
This one should be an easy and regulation win for Spurs because they have pulled up their socks at the perfect time, remaining unbeaten in their previous five matches. Antonio Conte does have some injury troubles but that should not be a concern for the Italian because Norwich has been toothless for most of this season.
Tottenham’s team news and tactics vs Norwich City:
The last thing Antonio Conte will want is to push his players into disarray by changing his tactics so he is going to stick with the same 3-4-3 system.
Cristian Romero picked up a hip injury earlier this month so Davinson Sanchez will hold onto his place as the third central defender, alongside Eric Dier and Ben Davies.
The manager has hinted earlier that Romero is trying hard to make a comeback but there’s a very remote chance that the defender will be fit to start.
Conte had said, as quoted: “Cuti is trying in his mind to recover for the last game against Norwich but honestly, we don’t know [if he will be available].”
Bentancur and Hojbjerg have been the silent superstars for Spurs during the second half of the season and the pair will be the first two names on Antonio Conte’s teamsheet.

Reguilon and Matt Doherty are both ruled out with injuries but in their absence, Emerson Royal and Sessegnon have done a fantastic job as the backup wing-backs.
Lucas Moura got a rare start against Burnley last weekend but he will move back to the bench as the Spurs manager recalls Kulusevski to the starting line-up. Kane, Son and Kulusevski are currently one of the most ruthless attacking trios in English football and if they can pick up their pace then Norwich will be in for a tough night.
Spurs predicted line up vs Norwich City:
Predicted Starting Line up(3-4-3): Hugo Lloris; Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, Ben Davies; Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Emerson Royal, Sessegnon; Harry Kane, Kulusevski, Son.
