Spurs huffed and puffed to a victory over Tamworth in the FA Cup and now they will have to quickly prep themselves up for a North London Derby on Wednesday night.

Tottenham have won just two out of their previous six matches but last week they managed a 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup. The extra-time win over Tamworth did not ooze confidence from Spurs but knocking Liverpool out of the EFL will be the point of reference for Ange in midweek. Arsenal have seen a sudden slump in form so this is the ideal time for Spurs to face their local rivals and three points could help them go within one point of the first half of the Premier League table.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham have become massively unpredictable because, on one hand, they have beaten teams like Man City, Man United and Liverpool. However, this same season, they have suffered humiliating losses against Galatasaray, Ipswich and so on.

Tottenham’s team news and injury list:

Postecoglou will take his team to the Emirates Stadium with as many as eight first-team players missing due to various injuries.

The likes of Richarlison, Van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Udogie are all ruled out and to make matters worse Fraser Forster is also a doubt due to illness. If Forster is not available then 21-year-old Czech Republic keeper Antonin Kinsky will be the No. 1 once again.

With so many injuries, the Spurs manager won’t have the luxury to make too many changes but some of the regulars got rested at the weekend so they will come back into the first XI.

Son, Kulusevski and Solanke had to come off the bench after Spurs struggled to break down Tamworth but all three will definitely start against Arsenal.

Sarr, James Maddison and Bissouma all started on Sunday and neither of them will get rested. And a jaded midfield could be the potential undoing for Spurs during the North London Derby. The manager has very limited options in midfield because Bentancur has suffered a concussion and he’ll be out for a couple of weeks.

Spurs predicted lineup vs Arsenal:

Goalkeeper: Kinsky.

Defenders: Dragusin, Porro, Archie Gray, Spence.

Midfielders: Sarr, Yves Bissouma, James Maddison.

Attackers: Son, Dominic Solanke, Kulusevski.
