Spurs were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Chelsea and now the Lilywhites will be eager to make a strong statement by beating Arsenal.

Spurs take on Arsenal in the North London Derby and this Premier League encounter has a lot riding on it. Conte’s side have two games in hand so if they can beat their local rivals then they will obviously be one of the favourites to enter the top-four in the coming week.

The Lilywhites were completely outplayed by Chelsea but we don’t expect the same on Sunday. Tottenham have been having a fine run in the league, remaining undefeated in their previous eight matches and to add to this, Arsenal are in complete turmoil.

Mikel Arteta has close to a dozen players missing for the North London Derby so several Arsenal players are expected to play out of position. This will be the perfect opportunity for Spurs to bounce back from their loss to Chelsea and send out a statement of intent in terms of securing a Champions League spot.

Spurs injuries and team news vs Arsenal:

Gollini played in goal vs Chelsea but Hugo Lloris will return to goal for the North London Derby.

Cristian Romero is still a doubt with a hamstring injury which means Ben Davies will partner Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez in central defence. Dier missed Wednesday’s game with a cold but he should be fit to face Arsenal.

Harry Winks had another poor outing in central midfield so it’s safe to claim that Oliver Skipp is going to come back into the starting line up, playing alongside Hojbjerg.

Reguilon will be touch and go as he is still recovering from a muscle injury and if he is not fit then Sessegnon will feature on the left wing-back.

Heung-Min Son is out with a muscle injury and the manager had previously claimed that the forward is expected to make a comeback only after the break.

With Son out, Dele Alli and Giovanni Lo Celso are going to fight for a spot in the final third and going by the recent trend we think Antonio Conte is going to put his faith in the latter.

With Bergwjin out with a calf issue, Lucas Moura will start with Harry Kane leading the line.
