Spurs suffered their 11 defeat of the 2020-21 Premier League season as Leeds United beat them 3-1 last weekend. And if Ryan Mason’s side are not careful enough then they could miss out on European football next season.

Next up, Tottenham take on Wolves and they need to pick up all three points or else both Everton and Arsenal could move above them on the league table and the North London side could end up finishing the season as a mid-table side.

Ryan Mason has only one injury absentee but the interim coach is not going to take any major risks meaning almost all the players who took the field vs Leeds United should feature against Wolves as well.

Spurs have won 5 of their last 6 home matches in the Premier League and since this is a home game, Mason’s side will be looking to pick up all three points on Sunday.

Spurs team news vs Wolves:

Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld are the first-choice central defensive pairing for Ryan Mason and the pair will take the field against Wolves as well. Davinson Sanchez will once again have to watch from the bench.

Ben Davies is the only injury absentee for Tottenham and their interim coach has made it clear that Davies is ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Mason admitted to the press: “Ben is the only player who hasn’t trained (with the group), I’ll be honest, I’ll be surprised if he’s in contention for any of our remaining three fixtures.”

With Davies ruled out, Reguilon will keep his place in the side with Serge Aurier playing as the right full-back against Wolves.

Lo Celso has been partnering Hojbjerg in central midfield under Ryan Mason but for this match, Ndombele could be called back, in place for Giovanni Lo Celso.

Dele Alli is back into the fold after the departure of Jose Mourinho and the England international will be hoping to get another start for Tottenham this weekend against Wolves.

Gareth Bale has been preferred to Lucas Moura on the right-hand side of attack and we feel Ryan Mason will stick with this same arrangement on Sunday.

Harry Kane and Son have been the two best players for Spurs this season and the pair pretty much selects themselves.

Spurs’ predicted XI vs Wolves:

Predicted XI: Hugo Lloris; Eric Dier, Alderweireld, Reguilon, Aurier; Lo Celso/Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Dele Alli; Son, Harry Kane, Gareth Bale/Lucas Moura.
