Spurs kicked off their Premier League season in fine form but they weren’t able to keep the winning run going in gameweek two.

This past weekend, they managed only a draw against Chelsea meaning they have now slipped to fourth on the league table. In GW 3 they will take on Wolves at home and based on their recent form, Tottenham should be winning this encounter pretty easily.

Tottenham have won seven of their last eight home matches in the Premier League and on the other hand, Wolves are yet to pick up a win this campaign. In their first game, they lost 2-1 to Leeds and then they managed only a draw vs Fulham last weekend.

The odds are heavily stacked against the visiting side but the last time these two sides met, Bruno Lage’s side went on to win 2-0 and they will be hoping for another such performance on Saturday.

Spurs vs Wolves team news and injuries for GW3:

Antonio Conte has almost a fully fit squad to choose from with midfielder Oliver Skipp being the only player who’s ruled out. He’s still recovering from a knock and is expected to return towards the end of this month.

Clément Lenglet is also out with muscle tightness but the summer recruit will be back in action this week so he will be ready to play the Spurs vs Wolves match.

Last week the Spurs boss had said: ‘I don’t think he’s available for Chelsea. For sure, for the next game.’

For the away side, the injury list might be small but Lage could be without some very important players for Saturday’s game.

Chiquinho is ruled out for the remainder of the season with a cruciate ligament injury and the Wolves boss will also be without Raul Jiménez and Joao Moutinho.

Jiménez will return to action in September while Moutinho is out with a foot injury that he picked up in training. There’s a chance Moutinho could be fit for the Spurs vs Wolves tie but that will only be known in the manager’s pre-match press conference.
