Steven Bergwijn has turned out to be a flop at Spurs and according to Calciomercato, Arsenal will look to sign him during the summer transfer window.

The forward arrived at Spurs from PSV Eindhoven with a lot of hope but in the past two years, he has done nothing noteworthy at the club. So far, he’s played only 74 games for the club, scoring seven goals.

He is of no use to Antonio Conte and the Italian was even ready to send him out to Ajax during the January window but somehow a deal did not materialize in time. As per the experts, Spurs are ready to listen to offers for the winger during the summer as well and North London rivals Arsenal are seemingly interested in making a move.

Will Tottenham agree to sell Steven Bergwijn to Arsenal?

An offer from a club like Arsenal will certainly be tempting for Steven Bergwijn but we don’t think Spurs will be too eager to sell him to one of their fiercest rivals.

If Arsenal can secure a Champions League spot next season then they will make a great case for themselves but Steven Bergwijn has no shortage of takers either.

Ajax are expected to come back for him in the summer and even AC Milan have been linked with the winger. He is valued at around £15 million which makes him a lucrative target for several major European sides.

The Gunners will certainly try and make a formal offer for the 24-year-old but we are confident that Spurs will keep them as the last option. Steven Bergwijn will not have much say in this because his current deal with the Lilywhites expires in 2025.
