Arsenal will have to get rid of two first-team players before they can sign this 23 Y/O striker

Tammy Abraham Chelsea

Arsenal are ready to pay the big bucks for Chelsea outcast Tammy Abraham but for the move to happen, the Gunners will first have to clear locker room space, as per The Express.

The report claims: “Arsenal are ready to meet Tammy Abraham’s wage demands to bring the Chelsea forward to the Emirates this summer. Abraham could come in as Arsenal’s newest frontman having fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

“A move for Abraham may however depend on whether or not Arsenal move on the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.

“The duo are into the final 12 months of their Emirates contracts and while a new deal has been offered to Nketiah, he has yet to sign it and could move on this summer.”

Can Arsenal convince Tammy Abraham to join them?

Chelsea want £40 million to let Tammy Abraham leave – a steep price for a player who has played very little football last season. But according to this report, money is not going to be the main problem for the Gunners.

With Lacazette and Nketiah still in the squad, there’s no way Abraham will agree to join the North London side. And with clubs like West Ham United also keen to sign him, Arsenal will not get too much time to sort things out.

Arsenal have already put Lacazette up for sale but right now, no club has shown an interest in signing the French forward.

Selling the two forwards will also help the Gunners gather a lot of funds for the Tammy Abraham deal but it seems like sending them out will not be as easy as first thought.

The Chelsea misfit also wants £125,000-a-week in the form of wages and Arsenal are even willing to accept this clause. But, this whole transfer depends on whether the club can guarantee Tammy Abraham regular starts next season.
