After the Christian Eriksen scare, Belgium’s Timothy Castagne was another injury setback and the Leicester City man is now ruled out from the EURO 2020.
Belgium won their opening match of the tournament beating Russia3-0 but the full-back clashed heads with Daler Kuzyaev in the first half in St Petersburg and immediately the Leicester man had a swollen eye.
A huge lump around his eye was not a pleasant sight for the onlookers and now it has been revealed that Timothy Castagne has sustained a broken eye socket.

‘Really bad news, sad to see Timothy Castagne is going to be out of the tournament,’ Martinez said, as reported.
‘He’s had images taken, he’s got a double fracture, and now we’ll take the necessary treatment.’
The Leicester City man will be needing surgery meaning he will play no further part in the European Championship which could turn out to be a big blow for the Red Devils.
Roberto Martinez is already without Kevin De Bruyne who is recovering from a similar sort of injury and even Jan Vertonghen was also taken off early during their opening match.
Thankfully, the injury to Vertonghen is not too serious with Martinez saying: ‘Jan Vertonghen has a typical football injury, an ankle knock that we’re going to wait 48 hours to see the extent of, but I don’t expect that to be too serious.’
The surgery should not be a major one and Timothy Castagne should be fit enough to return to the pitch after a couple of weeks. So if everything goes well then he will be ready to feature for Leicester City when the 2021/22 season kicks off.
