Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur seem the most likely to sign Dusan Vlahovic if Fiorentina want to cash in on him this summer.

In a recent interview, Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has said that the club will consider selling the centre-forward if someone is willing to pay around £85 million.

And according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Claudio Laudisa, Tottenham Hotspur are still the frontrunners in signing Dusan Vlahovic.

He told Radio Bruno(as quoted): “Three months ago, I wrote about Tottenham’s strong interest in Vlahovic, and that remains today.

“There is now talk of Atlético Madrid and Manchester City because the player now has a European showcase. Commisso’s words yesterday leave room for a way out in case this auction should be unleashed.

“My impression is that Atlético can hardly go beyond the €50m offer already made, while Tottenham can do so with the sale of Kane.

“Also because the primary objective of Manchester City remains Kane, and if, as it seems, they are ready to spend €175m to buy him, it’s clear that Tottenham will have the resources to take Vlahovic.”

Dusan Vlahovic set to join Tottenham Hotspur?

Manchester City are clearly focusing on signing Harry Kane and they are going to fight till deadline day.

And if City get their hands on Kane only then will Daniel Levy be able to afford to make a formal move for the 21-year-old.

According to TransferMarkt, Dusan Vlahovic is valued at only £36 million and he has only two more years left on his current deal. This means the £85 million price tag is really absurd which is why we think Fiorentina are just not interested in selling the forward this summer which is why they are quoting such a high price.

Last season, Dusan Vlahovic scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A games so he will be a pretty solid replacement for Harry Kane. But unless Harry Kane is moving out, Spurs will not be making a move for the Fiorentina forward.
