Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this Sunday at Anfield.

And going into this match, Jurgen Klopp has a few concerns.

The first and perhaps the biggest headache that the Liverpool manager is having right now is with Trent Alexander Arnold.

Trent Alexander Arnold is currently sidelined with a mystery injury which has kept the Liverpool medical staff in a puzzle.

The right-back has been a key figure for Liverpool this season and so far the 20-year-old has played in 22 games in the Premier League scoring one goal and making six assists.

But right now Trent Alexander Arnold is out with a back trouble and Jurgen Klopp has indicated that the youngster might not be fit to play against Spurs on Sunday.

“Trent still feels his back. We’re not 100 per cent sure so we have to watch him,” Klopp told Liverpool’s website.

“It’s not an obvious injury that you can say something is broke or whatever, it’s just a bit annoying actually that he cannot feel really free.”

If Trent Alexander Arnold cannot make himself fit before the high-profile clash then midfielder James Milner would slot into right-back.

But this mystery injury could cause some real trouble for Liverpool during the upcoming weeks.

The Reds have some really important games coming up during the next couple of weeks and right now no one can really put a time frame as to when Trent Alexander Arnold will be fully fit to play.

After taking on Spurs, Liverpool will have to face off against the likes of Porto and Chelsea all within the next month and if Trent Alexander Arnold is out for that long then James Milner surely has his work cut out.
