Rangers have been linked with a move for Stoke City forward Tyrese Campbell all throughout the previous month – as per reports.

And now it looks like Celtic too have joined the race and will battle it out with their Glasgow rivals in order to try and sign the youngster.

Tyrese Campbell is a product of the Man City youth system but in 2016 he went on to join the Stoke U18 side and since then he has been moving up the Stoke ranks pretty steadily.

This season, the forward has played in 16 Championship games so far and has managed to find the net four times along with one assist.

As per reports, the Ibrox outfit have sent out scouts to watch the player multiple times during the past couple of weeks and have plans to sign him for free at the end of the season.

Now though with Celtic joining the race, Rangers might not have the luxury to wait until the end of the season and there are rumours that they might try and make a move this month itself.

Celtic too are willing to splurge money in order to sign Tyrese Campbell this month but according to us, neither of these two clubs might be able to get their hands on the forward.

Apart from Celtic and Rangers, Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Wolves are also interested in signing him and there’s no way Campbell will snub the Premier League to come and play in Scotland.

If either of these two interests is real then Tyrese Campbell will be more than willing to wait until the end of the season in order to run down his contract at Stoke and then move to the Premier League as a free agent.

The interests from Palace and Wolves will surely push the Glasgow sides on the back foot but we are still not sure if these two clubs are actually serious about signing the forward and some experts believe that both Celtic and Rangers should try and swoop him up during this position of uncertainty.
