West Ham United have been going through a turmoil in the Premier League having lost five of their last six league matches and next up they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.

The Hammers are currently 13th on the league table and are just three points off the relegation zone meaning if they lose to Chelsea this weekend they they could very well end up in the bottom three by the end of the weekend.

And if these statistics weren’t enough then Manuel Pellegrini has now made it clear that some of his top players remain sidelined and won’t be available for selection when West Ham United make the trip across London.

“Jack Wilshere continues with some problems in his pelvis, hope next week he will start working,” Pellegrini told reporters.

“Fabianski still recovering, Manu Lanzini has started working on the pitch yesterday but needs at least one month more.

“Winston Reid back next week to training.”

Wilshere is still recovering from his groin problem and there are hopes that he could be fit for the clash against his former side Arsenal in two weeks time.

The absence of Fabianski has perhaps been the biggest blow for the Hammers since the stand-in keeper, Roberto Jimenez has been a totally failure in front of goal.

Lukasz was expected to make a return sometime around Christmas but now it’s being claimed that the keeper is not expected to be fit in that time frame.

Manuel Lanzini’s absence is also a big setback for West Ham United since the South American has provided the creative spark every time he’s started for Manuel Pellegrini.

Apart from these injuries, West Ham United will also miss the services of Issa Diop who is suspended for this Chelsea game after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season.
