Celtic winger Armstrong Okoflex looks all set to make a cross-border move and join Premier League side West Ham United, as per reports.
The 19-year-old has been on Moyes’ radar for some time now and recently, West Ham insider ExWHUemployee had revealed that Okoflex was London bound.
“We have signed one player – I think he’s due to be announced soon – and the guy is called Armstrong Okoflex – which is a quality name,” Ex said on The West Ham Way podcast, as quoted.
“He plays for Celtic and is a former Arsenal youth player and he’s actually played a couple of times for Celtic.
“He was born in Dublin, started out in one of the country’s famous academies, St Kevin’s Boys, then Liam Brady spotted him for Arsenal and brought him over, then he joined Celtic on a three-year deal.”
Now, Herald and Times Sport are claiming that Armstrong Okoflex is in London to finalise a move to West Ham United and the deal is expected to be wrapped up by the end of this month.
The report suggests: “Armstrong Okoflex is in London to finalise a move from Celtic to West Ham.
“Herald and Times Sport understands the Hoops youngster travelled down south to complete the move after the Hammers made their interest known this summer.”

Armstrong Okoflex joined the Celtic U18 side from the Arsenal academy in 2018 but he has failed to make an impact in the first-team squad so far.
According to TransferMarkt, the winger played a total of just 39 minutes in two Premiership games for Celtic during the 2020-21 season. He had signed a three-year deal with Celtic which expired last month so West Ham United will be signing him as a free agent.
The Hammers are in Europe next season meaning David Moyes will need significant backup to his regular first-team players. But what remains to be seen is if Okoflex is brought straight into the first-team setup or does he go into the U23 squad.
