West Ham United brought in David Moyes as their new manager a couple of weeks ago but the Scottish international has not been able to revive the Hammers’ fate.

The Hammers have managed to win just one out of their last five Premier League matches and right now they are above the relegation zone courtesy of a slightly superior goal difference.

And in such a woeful scenario, they will have to play host to league leaders Liverpool meaning by the start of next weekend, West Ham could very well be in the relegation zone.

David Moyes has as many as seven injury concerns going into this match and it will surely be an uphill task for the London side to pick up anything from this match on Wednesday.

West Ham team news vs Liverpool:

Lukasz Fabianski is ruled out with a thigh injury meaning Randolph should start in goal for the Hammers.

The West Ham manager is expected to name a three-man backline consisting of Balbuena, Issa Diop and Ogbonna while Cresswell and Zabaleta are expected to play as the wing-backs.

Robert Snodgrass is currently out with a knee injury and as per the latest reports, the player is not expected to be fit for the Liverpool clash.

Mark Noble will start in central midfield alongside Declan Rice while some experts feel it will be Pablo Fornals who will play as the third midfielder if Snodgrass cannot make himself fit in time.

Felipe Anderson is currently sidelined while Manuel Lanzini played the full 90 minutes for West Ham United in their FA Cup draw and given how injury-prone Lanzini is, the manager could opt to use Michail Antonio up front alongside Haller.

Also, with Michail Antonio playing upfront, Virgil Van Dijk will have a real physical presence to deal with and it could be the trick that David Moyes has up his sleeve.
