Project Restart has caused a fair bit of stir amongst all the footballers and a couple of days ago, West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble had raised concerns over the idea.

The Daily Mail had reported that alongside the likes of Harry Kane and Jordan Henderson, the West Ham United captain was one of the big names who had some serious doubts about the resumption of the games.

And now following in his footsteps, Hammers full-back Aaron Cresswell has also come out to accuse the Premier League of not listening to the fears of the players.

The left-back while replying to talkSPORT on Twitter said: ‘I think it’s been made pretty clear (that) players’ opinions don’t count for much along with the head medical officer of Fifa.

‘It’s been 10 weeks since we last played to try to get a poll to see where players stand.’

The West Ham United defender has a point since FIFA’s chief doctor had previously suggested that all football for the 2019-20 season be cancelled but clearly no one is listening to him.

The Premier League stakeholders and the clubs are raring to get their players back on the pitch since the cancellation of the current season will result in huge financial losses for everyone involved.

But at the end of the day, it will be the players who will have to put their bodies on the line in the pitch so naturally, they are the ones who are most concerned with this hasty resumption.

The UK government is unquestionably in favour of a restart but we think, all the eyes will be glued to the Bundesliga for the coming few weeks since the German top division has already restarted their matches from this weekend.

And if anything was to go wrong in that league then we are more than certain that the players in the English league would refuse to even return back to training.
