West Ham United take on Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday and David Moyes’ side will need to win this one if they wish to hold onto their Champions League spot.

Teams like Spurs and Arsenal are breathing down their necks and in such a pressure scenario, the Hammers slumped to a 3-2 loss to Leeds United during the weekend. They need to pick up all three points vs Man United or they are more than likely to fall out of the top four as everyone heads into the break.

Man United have been in really poor form even under their interim boss so this is the perfect opportunity for West Ham United to eye a commanding win. The Hammers haven’t won in the Premier League at Old Trafford since 2007 and this Saturday’s game will be the perfect chance for them to break this unwanted streak.

Leeds United opened up a lot of games in the West Ham United side but with some key players coming back, David Moyes will be hoping for a more cohesive performance from his team at Old Trafford.

West Ham United’s team news vs Man United:

As per the latest reports, Kurt Zouma will be available for selection against Man United but after spending so many weeks on the sidelines we don’t think he will be in contention to start.

With Zouma expected to be on the bench, Dawson and Diop will once again pair up in central defence.

Soucek had been missing due to COVID while Mark Noble was also out with a knock but both the midfielders should return to the side during the weekend. Without Soucek, Declan Rice looked really out of sorts but his return will bring back the equilibrium in the Hammers’ midfield.

With Soucek and Noble missing, Lanzini had to start in central midfield vs Leeds which allowed both Fornals and Vlasic to start in the advanced roles.

But with the Czech international coming back, Lanzini will return to the No 10 role while Vlasic drops back to the bench.

Said Benhrahma has left for international duty so Bowen starts on the right flank with Michail Antonio occupying his usual centre-forward’s role.

West Ham’s absentees for the Old Trafford clash:

Said Benrahma – International Duty – Ruled out.

Angelo Ogbonna – Ligament Injury
