West Ham United are currently eighth in the Premier League table but they might be able to break into the top four if things so go their way this weekend.

The Hammers welcome Man United to the London Stadium this Sunday and given that the home side are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions, Solskjaer’s men will have to sweat it out in order to pick up all three points.

West Ham United themselves have a few selection worries but the fact that United are struggling to score goals could prove to be a big boost for Manuel Pellegrini.

And if the home side can manage to pick up a win then their push for a European spot would most certainly take a fresh turn.

WHUFC team news vs Man United:

Arthur Masuaku is serving a one-match ban after being sent off last weekend which means he will not be available for selection.

And the left-back role will be the real cause of concern for the manager before the WHUFC vs Man United clash.

While Cresswell is available for selection but he has fallen down the pecking order this season and his last appearance came during the first matchweek of the 2019-20 season.

Some reports have claimed the 29-year-old could be recalled by the manager but some experts feel Pellegrini will take the risk of playing Pablo Zabaleta on the left-hand side while Fredericks plays as the right-back on Sunday.

Diop and Ogbonna have done pretty well in central defence and the pair will reprise their role during the WHUFC vs Man United clash.

Declan Rice and Mark Noble will feature in central midfield while Manuel Lanzini will play in the hole just behind the frontman.

Michail Antonio is recovering from a thigh injury and remains unavailable for selection for the WHUFC vs Man United game which means Yarmolenko will play on the right flank.

Felipe Anderson has been in average form for the Hammers this season having assisted just a single goal in his four appearances but the Brazilian should keep his place in the first XI on Sunday.

Sebastian Haller has netted three goals in four matches for West Ham United this season and the 25-year-old will play as upfront vs Man United.
