West Ham United put another feather on their cap two weeks ago when they beat Liverpool in the Premier League and moved above them on the table.

The Hammers are currently third on the league table and this weekend they face Wolves at Molineux – a game where David Moyes will once again be eyeing all three points.

Moyes has turned this squad into serial winners so, despite Wolves’ recent stable form, we expect West Ham United to pick up a comfortable win on Saturday.

West Ham have won six of their last seven matches and couple that with the fact that Wolves are yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season then the odds are obviously stacked in favour of the London outfit.

Ideally, the away side should go all out this weekend since if they win they could theoretically sit second on the table – tied on points with Chelsea(if the Blues lose to Leicester) but even if they suffer a defeat then also they will remain in the top four going into the next matchweek.

West Ham United team news vs Wolves:

Angelo Ogbonna suffered a serious knee injury and as per the updates, the defender might not play for the remainder of the season.

This is a major blow for the manager since he will have to rely on Craig Dawson to partner Kurt Zouma until the January transfer window opens.

Ben Johnson has managed to move up the pecking order thanks to his performances in recent weeks and he’s once again going to start as the right-back on Saturday.

Declan Rice picked up a slight knock while on international duty but the injury is not serious so he will be available for selection this weekend.

Rice has been the midfield general for West Ham United this season so his absence would have been a consequential disaster. But thankfully, the injury was not serious at all.

Pablo Fornals is another player who is out with a knock but like Rice, the winger will also be fully fit by the time the Wolves game comes around.

Fornals will operate on the left-hand side with Jarrod Bowen playing on the right.

Nikola Vlasic and Yarmolenko both recovered from injuries and played for their respective national sides during the break. These two though are not regulars for West Ham United so we expect them to only find a place on the bench against Wolves.
