West Ham Utd beat Newcastle United 4-2 in their first match of the new Premier League season and now they will have to ensure that they keep this momentum going by winning against Leicester City as well.

The Hammers did the double over Leicester last season and with the kind of form they had displayed against the Magpies, everyone will be putting their money on Moyes’ side to pick up a win.

Playing in Europe will come with its own share of challenges so David Moyes will need to ensure his side picks up maximum domestic points before the Europa League gets underway.

Arthur Masuaku is the only player who is a doubt for West Ham Utd so the manager will be spoilt for choices when it comes to naming his best XI on Monday.

West Ham United team news vs Leicester:

Fabianski managed to hold onto his spot despite the arrival of Alphonse Areola in the summer and we think Moyes will not want to make any changes to the goalkeeping department this week either.

The West Ham Utd boss will want to phase in the new arrival slowly.

Ogbonna was fit enough to start for the Hammers last weekend and so he will once again pair up in central defence alongside Craig Dawson.

Cresswell got a rating of 8/10 for his performance against Newcastle so he will obviously start at left-back with Coufal operating on the other side of the pitch.

Soucek and Declan Rice are the first-choice central midfield pairing for David Moyes so their selection is a no-brainer. This also means Mark Nobel’s importance in the side is slowly fading away.

Said Benrahma played in the attacking midfielder’s role last weekend and he ended the match with a goal and an assist. He will once again play in that same position with Pablo Fornals operating on the left flank.

The manager has the option of using Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini but we think both of them will only find a place on the bench.

Michail Antonio missed a penalty vs the Magpies but the West Ham United forward was one of the catalysts in that 4-2 win, scoring one and assisting another goal.
