Jose Mourinho Tottenham take on Chelsea

Manchester United came from 2-0 down to beat Newcastle United 3-2 at home on Saturday and this might have been the most important match of Jose Mourinho’s managerial career.

Mourinho was on the verge of being sacked and his team went down 2-0 within the first 10 minutes of the game. So, all in all, it was not looking good for the Portuguese.

Then as a final throw of the dice, Mourinho chose to make a few substitutions and made his team literally forget about defending – something you rarely see Mourinho do.

Paul Pogba played at centre-back, such was the desperation to win and ultimately these weird tactics bore fruit as United managed to come out of the match with a much deserved three points.

Juan Mata scored the first goal for Man United following which Anthony Martial scored the equaliser. And then the third goal for the Red Devils came through Alexis Sanches who had come on as a second-half substitute.

Gone are those days when Jose Mourinho would make a run alongside the touchline or jump into the crowd as nowadays the Portuguese is a calm and sober image.

But after the final whistle during the Man United vs Newcastle game, cameras caught a rather candid Jose Mourinho.

As Mourinho was making his way into the tunnel, a camera was following him and the manager clearly uttered a bunch of words before heading into the dressing room.

And some have now claimed to figure out what exactly Jose Mourinho was trying to say.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho said:

‘fodas filhos de puta,’

Which means:

‘f**k off sons of a b**ch,’

Some think these words were directed at the crowd but a vast majority of the people has rubbished these claims since the Old Trafford fans never got hostile with their manager.

So naturally, Jose Mourinho’s next best target was the press whom he later said were out for a man-hunt against him.

Jose Mourinho will go into the international break as a happy manager but when he returns he will have an uphill task on his hands as his team takes on Chelsea and Juventus in a span of just three days.
